Dr Mark Voloshin came from humble beginnings in Russia and with extreme drive and dedication, qualified as a dentist. His unique idea of a mobile dentistry service introduced him to the world of business and he was hooked. His own fledgling company, Marvol Group International is a tribute to his business savvy and now has interests across the globe.
Dr Voloshin is now a proud citizen of South Africa and is bringing his business know-how and passion to this country. Having lived around the world, and piloted many projects, South Africa was the place that finally saw him settle down. Hazendal Wine Estate is now the place that this doctor and entrepreneur calls home and has been revitalised thanks to his dedication.
Starting out as a dentist in Russia and Germany, Dr Voloshin soon found a way to combine his business savvy mind with the care and community spirit of the medical profession. His company, the Marvol Group soon grew to have interests across the globe, but dentistry and medicine was still Dr Voloshin's priority. He has lectured at many universities, written books, contributed to research and chaired projects all committed to the advancement of dentistry and making dental care accessible to all.
Today Mark Voloshin's main focus is assisting South Africa in overcoming her past and reaching her full potential. Through ties with Russia, each country can progress and become indomitable forces in the world's markets. Hazendal Estate not only produces some of Stellenbosch's finest wines, but also helps in spreading Russian culture and promoting the South African arts.
